Lynne Sport

Lynne Sport is the Chief Human Resources and Administrative Officer responsible for the full range of human resources functions, and building and facilities management.

Lynne has a broad and varied background in human resources as both a specialist in compensation and benefits and as a generalist with experience in recruitment and staffing, employee relations, and training and development. Prior to joining Carnegie, Lynne held various positions with private sector companies: she was HR director at Connie Lee Insurance Company and a compensation and benefits specialist at RJO Enterprises (a technology firm), Martin Marietta (now Lockheed Martin), and Sovran Bank (now Bank of America).  

Lynne has served in several volunteer capacities for the Society for Human Resources Management and on the board of directors including past president of the Human Resource Association of the National Capital Area (now DC-SHRM).
