Anantha is a nonresident scholar with Carnegie India, He has over 23 years of experience in the technology industry, and half of it has been in the areas of government affairs and public policy advocacy. Based out of New Delhi, he leads the government relations function for a large technology company and works on a spectrum of policy issues related to R&D, manufacturing, and adoption of emerging technologies in India. He leads many of the large initiatives in partnership with industry and academia and spends time in advocacy in the areas of next-generation technologies like 5G, AI, drones, and autonomous systems. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Kerala University and an MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
